Hi our family is headed to Disney for the first time in 3 weeks. Can you help me sort out where to manage spending limits on our 3 children’s magic bands? I’ve searched and searched how to do this but can’t find it. Tx Holly

    Greetings, Holly!

What a wonderful question to bring to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm happy to help and hope you are having a wonderful time planning your next magical adventure.

Shortly after Walt Disney World Resort rolled out the amazing MagicBands, my family visited and I was thrilled to find out you are able to set a spending limit for each MagicBand. This way I could still keep the freedom and responsibility of allowing my son to make his own purchases, but I could make sure he wouldn't go crazy--which we all know is easy to do at Disney. You won't be able to set the limit ahead of time, but will need to speak with a Cast Member at check-in or visit Guest Services to have them set it up for you.

Enjoy your vacation, Holly, and if there are any last minute items we are able to assist you with, please let us know.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Colorado

Hi-ya, Pals! I'm Lauren, a wife and mother of three who's enjoyed many special occasions at Walt Disney World Resort with my family and friends. From graduations to birthdays, and even our Fairy Tale Honeymoon we’ve loved celebrating at the most Magical Place on Earth. I now have pre-teens who check wait times in the My Disney Experience App just for fun, so I look for any excuse to return "home" often and would love to help you plan a little extra Pixie Dust for your next magical adventure.
