How exciting that you and your family will be visiting the "Happiest Place on Earth" for the first time this month! I'm happy to report that if you have a
MagicBand+, it will be supported at the Disneyland Resort during your trip. Magic Band and Magic Band 2 are not currently supported.
You will be able to use your MagicBand+ for entrance into the theme parks, and you also will be able to use it to scan into
Lightning Lane entrances if you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass! At the current time, you are not able to use MagicBand+ for your Disneyland Resort Hotel room or to charge purchases to your hotel room.
Since you'll be visiting during the
Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, there are some
fun interactions and surprises around Disneyland Park that you can unlock with your MagicBand+. Our favorite one to explore is by the Fantasyland Window near the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique since it features some of our favorite attractions such as Peter Pan's Flight and Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. I also highly encourage you to explore the
entertainment schedule prior to your trip to see when some of the special entertainment will be taking place such as the Paint the Night parade, it's my family's favorite parade!
