Our family group of 19 will be visiting from Dec. 26 to Jan. 2. Can you recommend kid friendly restaurants as we have 9 children 10 and under? Thanks

    Joanne:

I can't think of a better place than Disney to find kid-friendly restaurants!

In general, almost any non-signature dining restaurant would be perfect for your bunch, but here are a few of our favorites:

    • Crystal Palace, Magic Kingdom:  The buffet pleases both the kids and the adults. Possibly one of the freshest meals I've had.  The kids will LOVE the macaroni and cheese AND the self-serve, soft-serve ice cream!  Oh!  And don't forget: Winnie-the-Pooh and his friends have a parade for everyone to join in on!
    • Biergarten, Epcot:  Frequent visitors to the panel know this is one of my #1 recommendations to families because of its meat and potatoes buffet.  But the cherry on top is the oompah-band floor show where the kids can all go do the Chicken Dance!
    • Teppan Edo, Epcot: Gather everyone around their own hibbachi grill and watch the chefs put on a show!
    • Ohana, The Polynesian: Its name means 'family!'  The kids will enjoy the coconut races and limbo!
    • Chef Mickey's, The Contemporary:  Mickey and the gang's all here. I suggest using it for your last morning breakfast send-off or a late brunch the day you head to Magic Kingdom!
    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Whitney, Mississippi

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
