Hi Casey,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How fantastic for you to be in the midst of planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort for moms and kids. Happiness awaits!
There are a variety of car services online, but
Star Transportation services has been suggested on the Disney site as a Limousine or Town Car Service provider. I tried calling today to get an estimate for you, but their reservation office is closed until Tuesday. When, for example, we have used a taxi service from the Orlando train station in the past, it has been fairly expensive. So even though you may not want to rent a car or two, it might actually be cheaper to do a one-way rental than to pay for pick-up and drop off from a car service.
There are car rental services at the Walt Disney World Resort. I did call one of the service providers, Alamo® Rent A Car. The representative with whom I spoke said you could do rent two mini vans one-way from the Tampa International Airport to the Alamo Car Care Center at the Walt Disney World Resort. If you chose this option, you would have the vans for 24 hours. You could use this time to stop by a store and grab snacks and then could drop off luggage at the resort. Once you have unloaded luggage, one or two of you could return the car to the Alamo® Car Car Center on Disney property and then take Disney transportation back to the resort. You could then reserve a one-way rental for your return to the Tampa International Airport.
Casey, you have options, so do some comparison pricing for the dates of your trip and consider the time and effort required to make either plan work! Remember that everything is based on availability, so make your reservation soon.
Sending you lots of transportation pixie dust!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
