With a family group of 14 we will be enjoying the Polynesian's Luau together Thurs night and I now need to make a reservation for dinner (14ppl) on Friday evening. Somewhere great and convenient to MK but not IN MK that will make kids AND adults happy

Hi Ashley! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I will never forget the first time I got to travel to the Walt Disney World resort as a family. We were a party of 10 and it was one of the best times of my life. Getting to make such beautiful memories with my family will be something that I will never forget.

There are a couple of places that come to mind when thinking about places that are both fun for the kids and fun for the adults! My first choice would be Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This is a character meal served buffet style. In my opinion there is a great variety of food that both kids and adults will enjoy. I think there is something so special that the adults find just watching the kids interact with the characters, and in those moments you as an adult become a kid again. I mean who doesn’t get a bit excited when they see Mickey Mouse or Goofy?! Chef Mickey’s can be reached by using the Monorail system or by walking from Magic Kingdom Park.

Looking for a rowdy, hootin-hollerin good time?  Put on your best bib and tucker and skedaddle!  Head on over to the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue in Pioneer Hall at Fort Wilderness.  Here you can bend an elbow with family and friends; and you won't pay through the nose to enjoy a dinner that is fine as cream gravy.  If you like sappy songs, corny jokes, and dancing that the whole family can enjoy, then saddle up!  The whole kit and caboodle is a hoot from beginning to end.  This dinner show exemplifies what Disney is all about...family, friends, food, fun, and making memories! This fun dining experience can be reached by taking the Ferry Boat from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort.

I hope that your family is unforgettable!
