Welcome to planDisney, Ansley! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question today. With your trip coming up next week, it's a great opportunity to think about exactly how you're going to use
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, and I'm happy to walk you through some of the finer details.
When you use Lightning Lane Multi Pass, the
My Disney Experience app lets you choose which members of your group you want to book for each return time. So let's say you have a group of six that all start the day together, but a few people decide to head back to your
Resort Hotel for a nap or some pool time. No problem! When you go to book your next Lightning Lane, just uncheck their names and continue booking for the rest of the crew who's still in the park and ready to ride.
You'll be able to keep selecting Lightning Lane return times throughout the day as usual. Once you've used the first of your three advance reservations, you unlock the ability to keep booking more, one at a time, throughout the day. The system does not change if a few people from your party decide they're done for the day.
It's also a good idea to have everyone linked in your Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience so you can easily manage Lightning Lanes together, or individually, depending on who's sticking around. You're totally in control of who you book each return time for.
So go ahead and keep the fun going! Whether some of your group wants to hit more attractions or just grab one more
Dole Whip and a ride on the
PeopleMover, Lightning Lane Multi Pass will still work smoothly for whoever is up for more magic.
Have a magical day, Ansley!
