We are a family, group of 7 adults, 2 kids (4 and 2) and a baby. We want to know the best plan we can get with entrance to 2-3 parks and housing/accomodation for all. What options do we have?

Hi there Marnie, and welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your question. It sounds like you’re planning such a magical trip by bringing your entire family to Walt Disney World Resort. With a large group and multiple generations traveling together, it’s a great idea to start thinking about the best ticket options and accommodations so that everyone can experience the magic comfortably and stress free.

Disney offers different ways to bundle your tickets and resort so a large family like yours can stay together and visit two or three parks with ease. The simplest is a Disney vacation package, which combines your Disney resort hotel with theme park tickets and can also include dining. Packages are flexible and often come with seasonal promotions, such as discounts for children’s tickets or park access bundles.

When it comes to accommodations, Disney resorts provide several options. Family suites at the All-Star Music Resort and Art of Animation Resort sleep up to six guests, include multiple bathrooms, a kitchenette, and themed decor. These are a good fit for smaller family groups but with your size you would likely need two suites. For more space, deluxe villas at resorts such as Disney’s Riviera Resort or the Polynesian Island Tower provide one to three bedroom villas with kitchens, multiple bathrooms, washers and dryers, and easy transportation links like the Skyliner or monorail. The Polynesian’s new Island Tower even offers two bedroom penthouses that can sleep up to nine. Another unique choice is the Fort Wilderness cabins, which have modern features, kitchens, and a woodland setting with a family friendly atmosphere. All on site resorts include Disney guest benefits like early park entry and free transportation.

Marnie, I hope this helps as you begin planning your magical family vacation to Walt Disney World. With the right combination of park tickets and accommodations, you’ll be able to create a plan that keeps everyone comfortable while making the most of your time together. Be sure to book early, explore the My Disney Experience App to stay connected, and take advantage of transportation and resort benefits to make things easier with little ones in tow. Thank you for bringing your question to planDisney, and I wish you a wonderful trip filled with joy, laughter, and memories that your whole family will cherish for years to come!
