Hi Marg!
We're so glad that you found us hEAR at planDisney! I'd love to be your planEAR today.
I am so sorry that your original Disneyland dream plans were dashed by the unprecedented pandemic. Of everything that we've all been through, your family for sure deserves some magical together time at
The Happiest Place on Earth. Generally speaking, the value of what you spent on unused
theme park admission tickets remains safe and can be applied to future park tickets or even a
Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Package. However, to make these switches or upgrades, you will need to call the
Disneyland Resort Theme Park Admission Ticket Helpline. A friendly and very knowledgeable Cast Member will be able to assist with whatever you may need. Be sure to have any confirmation numbers or ticket codes handy and available so your past passes can quickly be found. Their phone number is (714) 781-4636. The phone lines are open between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PST; in my experience, it's best to call as soon as they open or about an hour before they close.
Marg, have you hEARd about another new requirement for guests planning to enjoy some Disney days, which is that each person must have a
Park Pass Reservation in addition to a theme park admission ticket?
Park Pass Reservations tell Mickey which park you plan on playing in on what day. Guests with the Park Hopper option can switch parks after 1:00 PM, however, they'll still need to notate the park they're starting their day in. Bonus tip: hEARs the
Park Pass Availability Calendar so you can familiarize yourself with it now. Park Pass Reservations open for booking 120 days in advance of your desired Disney Days. You can either book them one day at a time as each new day becomes available or you can wait until the last of your planned park days fall within the 120-day booking window to make your selections. So far I haven't seen any dates fill up on their exact opening day or even in their opening month. But it's definitely a good idea to book your vacation and make your park pass reservations as soon as you can, especially when you're visiting from so far away.
I hope that this helped to clEAR up your question, Marg! Be sure to follow the
