My family of 4 & all 4 grandparents are staying for a week in June @ Pop Century. We were told to ask @ check in for ajoining rooms. Do they have 3 rooms in a row that are ajoining? It's only fair for both sets of grandparents to be connected to us. Th

Hi, Jeanna!     I suggest you get the confirmation numbers for all 3 parties traveling and call (407)W-DISNEY to speak to a reservationist.   Some things to do on this call:

-Ask to link all 3 reservations (yours and both sets of grandparents.)   This will increase your chances of rooms being near each other.

-Ask for CONNECTING ROOMS.   Adjoining rooms are those that are next to each other where as Connecting Rooms have an inside door between 2 rooms.  Sorry to say, only 2 rooms can connect.  Don't worry, you will have plenty of "togetherness" without all 3 rooms connecting!

-If you prefer a first floor room for ease with your stroller or if the grandparents need an accessible room, make sure to make note of this as well on your reservation.

-If you want your room to be closest possible to food court/bus stop, you might want to consider booking a Preferred Room over a Standard Room, but that is up to you.  It will be less walking, but will cost a bit more per night for your room.

-If you think you will want to add a refrigerator to your room for milk and snacks for the kids, you can add this to your reservation.  The rental cost is about $10 per day plus tax.

I would call as soon as possible to get all your requests in.  Remember that all requests are noted, but cannot be guaranteed.  The cast members will do their best to find the best room possible for your party.

We frequently bring my parents along for our WDW vacations, and they just love seeing the grandkids in action all around Walt Disney World.   Grandparents are a wonderful help with the kids!  I hope all of you have a great vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
