We are a family of 2 grandparents, 2 parents and 3 young children (2 four year olds and a 15 month). We are linked together in our reservation. Can both a parent and grandparent make dining reservations at the same time for different restaurants?

    Hi Margaret!

Disney dining reservations aren't linked to a resort reservations, so you can make reservations however you'd like.  If you're planning on splitting up and eating at separate restaurants, you can make the reservations in separate names if you'd like.  If you're thinking about splitting the reservation at the same restaurant for your large party (I see you have another question asking about that), you can certainly do that as well.  The only rule is that the same Guest cannot be on more than one dining reservation in the same time frame.

I prefer to make all of my dining reservations using the online search tool rather than over the phone.  This way I can see what's available at which times and it's all in front of my face.  Also if you have to search for multiple tables, it's easier to do online as well.

    Have a magical day!
