    My family & I would like to go on the Wild Africa Trek. But both my husband & daughter are extremely picky eaters. Will I be able to request other types of food items than what is usually given? For example, plain ham sandwich or PB & J, etc.

    Hi Tina!

    I can't begin to say enough about how amazingly wonderful the Wild Africa Trek experience is! My family experienced the Trek last June and it's definitely one of the major highlights of our many Walt Disney World visits thus far. I so highly recommend it.

    The standard 'adult' meal is so beautifully presented and quite 'exotic.' That being said, it definitely doesn't appeal to pickier tastes. Although my kids were both of 'adult age' for the Trek when we experienced it, I made a point of requesting "kids meals" for them when we booked the excursion. Be sure to indicate your 'picky eater' requests at the time of your reservation and the crew will pack extra Smuckers PB&J Uncrustables in the lunch coolers, as well as grapes or apple slices in individual portions. The delicious fruit juice included with lunch is for all ages and will be readily available for everyone in your party. Additionally, there's no shortage of chilled water throughout the trip. You'll be able to refill your personal canteen bottle which is supplied for you to keep.
