Hi TaCarra -
Welcome back to the Moms Panel. Celebrating your daughter's 13th Birthday on the Disney Cruise earns you that parent award for sure! What an awesome way to welcome this milestone teen year. There will be lots of adventures waiting for your family onboard the Disney Dream. Make sure you pick up a Birthday Pin at the Guest Services desk when you first get onboard - you can never get enough birthday cheer for your special girl.
There are lots of activities that keep 3-12 year old kids engaged while they spend their time at the
Oceaneer Club & Lab. She will have a blast checking out the different themed spaces and different projects and activities that the youth counselors have planned each day. There's never a dull moment, and kids have been known to spend morning til midnight playing at the club. In addition, your daughter might also want to check out the
Edge. The activities change every day there too, and offers a little bit of a 'big kid' feel since it is geared more for the pre-teens.
The Youth Club activities are top notch and she'll make lots of new friends too.
On embarkation morning, everyone in the family can go to the Youth Club open house. It's the best time for you and your daughter to check out the different clubs and you can also get a chance to speak with one of the youth counselors to find out more about what they have in store for the rest of the voyage.
I hope this helps. Have fun planning your upcoming trip, TaCarra!
