Hi Kayley! Oh my goodness. I don't know how much help I'm going to be because I agree - you have selected 2 amazing Resort hotels!
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is gorgeous and you can't beat the proximity to Magic Kingdom. I also love the dining options and the Monorail access is fabulous!
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is like a vacation within a vacation. It's a beautiful and relaxing Resort hotel. The animals are incredible and there are tons of amazing dining options there as well.
I think the most helpful thing I can do is to ask you a few questions. I'm wondering where you plan to dine or what theme parks you will spend the most time in. Is one Resort hotel more convenient for you than the other based on your plans?
In the past, we couldn't decide, so we did a split stay. In fact, we have done this many times. We start at one Resort hotel and then move to the next in the middle of our vacation. It allows us to enjoy the benefits, amenities, and location of multiple Resort hotels. There have been other times that we wrote the names of both Resort hotels on a slip of paper. We folded each, placed them in a Mickey Ear hat and drew a winner.
The best news I can give you is that you are going to love whichever Resort hotel you choose. We have stayed at both Resort hotels many times and our vacations have always been magical!
Once you have made your decision, please let me know if you have any questions regarding the Resort hotel you have selected. Happy planning and have a magical day!
