Our family, fur babies are all, are FINALLY taking our Fort Wilderness vacation in December. What perks would we get from an early check-in? Would we find out our loop number and site number in advance?

    Hi Marsha!

I am so excited you will be heading down soon for a Fort Wilderness Resort vacation. The RV campsites are the only place to bring your fur babies along with you when traveling to Disney unless you have a service animal. We became RVers for this reason about 7 years ago and have been coming to the campgrounds ever since. We make it our home every fall and hope to be there soon.

Every RV must stop and check -in and it is at this time when you will be given your site number assignment. They cannot do this any earlier due to other guests perhaps deciding to stay longer and keeping a site that might have been originally assigned to you. It is a big jigsaw puzzle and I credit those whose job it is to assign and make the guest's wishes possible.

I do recommend you do the on line early check-in as your process at the gate will be much faster and smoother. Your credit card will be on file and the other information that they require will be done and recorded. Once you arrive you will want to get to your site and set up and start your magical vacation. Enjoy this with your complete family!
