By the time you visit, many character meet and greets will be back to what we once considered "normal." That's right- you'll finally be able to hug Mickey Mouse and his pals again, after a long few years of modified character interactions. Also, get your
autograph books ready because we all have a lot of catching up to do when it comes to signatures! I'd say you timed your visit just right for a little extra magic!
Alvin, I'm sorry you're having trouble with the technology side of the planning process. I have a couple of suggestions before we need to call in reinforcements.
First, if your name is not on the
Disney Resort Hotel reservation, you should be able to see, but not modify or cancel that particular reservation. You will be able to manage all plans for these Guests, except for their Disney Resort Hotel. This will need to be managed by them under their account and will only be accessible by those who are listed on the room reservation. However, you are still able to manage the rest of their plans without having direct access to their room reservation. So, you're able to continue booking experiences, attractions, dining reservations and more.
If their reservation is not showing up on your
My Disney Experience Mobile App, but they can see it on their end, they may need to change the settings to allow you to view the reservation. They'll need to do this from their own My Disney Experience app. Start by tapping the menu button in the bottom right corner, followed by "My Profile." Switch over to the "Friends and Family List" and they'll select your profile. You'll be able to "Choose Which Plans Alvin Can See" by selecting either "All My Plans" or "Only Plans We Share." You'll want to make sure to toggle "All My Plans" to allow access to all active plans within the app. You can repeat this process on your end if you'd like them to have access to your resort hotel reservation and other plans.
If the problem persists, it may be time to call our Fairy Godparents. You can
call the number for My Disney Experience or Disney Resort Hotel Reservations directly to get some clarity from a friendly, helpful Walt Disney World Cast Member. Their magic wands extend much further than mine!
