What is this family and friends tool? Can I book two connecting rooms at the same time? We aren't coming until March 2014 and staying 9 days. We plan to stay at the All Star Movie Resort

Hello Cindy!  Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom´s Panel.

The Family and Friends tool is part of My Disney Experience, with the purpose of inviting others to share your planned activities and help them plan their vacation.  This tool allow guest to plan our vacation activities at our convenience, while allowing others to join us in any activity they decide to.

The best way to get two connecting rooms is to book and pay for them together (same reservation and confirmation number).  At this moment you ask a Disney Cast Member to specifically book two connecting rooms.  Personally, I like to call (407) 939-7675 for booking connecting rooms.

Make sure to confirm your two connecting rooms every time you contact Walt Disney World reservation services.  You can even fax your resort, two weeks before arriving, to confirm - once again - that your reservation is for two connecting rooms.

When booking rooms separately Disney cannot guarantee your connecting rooms, but Cast Members will try their best to accommodate your request.  As above, or even more, you should confirm your request every time you contact Walt Disney World reservation services.

You have plenty of time to plan your reservations and to determine the best way to get your connecting rooms.

Happy to help you plan a magical Disney vacation.
