Hello Katy,
It's wonderful to see you here at planDisney, and thanks for bringing us your question.
I always find that the
Family & Friends features in
My Disney Experience offer a super easy way to make and manage all kinds of magical plans for a Walt Disney World Resort vacation with others in your travel group.
It sounds like you have your
My Family & Friends List set up so that your daughter's plans are managed by you, and you'd like your friend to be able to make plans that include your daughter. Let me suggest a couple of steps that you can try.
First, your friend will want to be sure to add you to her own My Family & Friends List by selecting the
"Add a Guest" feature. One way to do this is for your friend to use the "I'll enter their name and age" option, and enter your name and age, and choose the "Invite this Guest to connect" option which should prompt her to enter your email address. Your name should then appear on her My Family & Friends List with a status of "pending." You should receive an email invitation to connect with her, and
when you accept the invitation, your name should appear on her My Family & Friends List.
Adding a Guest to a My Family & Friends List also gives the opportunity to add others whom that Guest manages. So next, your friend will want to use the "Add a Guest" feature again, and now this time your daughter's name should appear as a Guest to add. This step should also add your daughter's name to your friend's list with a status of "pending," and you should receive another email invitation to accept for your daughter. When you accept this second email invitation, your daughter's name should appear on your friend's My Family & Friends List with a note similar to "Plans managed by Katy."
Katy, I hope these tips help you and your friend get everything set up as you'd like. If you find you'd like additional help, you can call the Walt Disney World Resort at (407)-934-7639 or
chat with a Cast Member online.
Here's wishing you all lots of Disney magic in your day today!
Jerry
