Our family of four, two children ages 5 and 2 and my husband and I are going to Disney in October and staying at a resort booked through a family member. We have a kitchen at the place and I was just wondering if the meal plan was worth investing in.

Hi Carol,

I'm a huge advocate for the Disney Dining Plan, particularly for guests traveling with children. You won't find a less expensive way to feed your family while on vacation unless you plan to cook most of your meals in your villa. My family has traveled both with and without the Disney Dining Plan. The few times we've vacationed without the plan, we returned home determined never to skip the Disney Dining Plan again. It just saves us too much money not to include it in our future vacation plans. I think you'll find it worthwhile. Let us know if you need help deciding between the various dining plans that are available.
