Hi:-) We’re a family of four travelling from Europe to Florida. We plan to visit Magic Kingdom for one specific day, but it seems impossible to purchase tickets for less than two days at Disneys own website even if I change time-zone?

    Hi Janne,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking us a question, my fellow international traveller!

I’m thrilled to hear that you’re planning a visit to Magic Kingdom Park during your upcoming holidays in Central Florida. I unfortunately have some bad news for you: for the moment: regardless of the “time zone” to which your computer is set, visitors from overseas can’t purchase a Single Day Ticket on the European version of the Walt Disney World Resort website. I’m not sure whether you can access the United States – English version of the website but, if you can, please click on this link to visit the North American Theme Park Tickets purchasing page. You might be able to make your purchase that way or by downloading the My Disney Experience Mobile App to your smartphone (if you can in your region) and accessing the in-app ticket purchasing options.

If neither of those options works, I would recommend that you purchase your tickets at the Disney Springs Welcome Center prior to the day on which you plan to visit Magic Kingdom Park. If you aren’t planning to stay in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, please check to see whether your hotel’s front desk or concierge service offers Theme Park Tickets to its guests; I believe that several of the larger hotels and chains offer this service. That way, you’ll be able to get to the Magic and start your Disney Day more quickly on the day of your “actual” visit.

Finally, please check the Theme Park Reservation Availability Tool to make sure that the date you’d like to visit Magic Kingdom Park is still available, especially because your date sounds inflexible. The closer you get to your vacation dates, the more availability can become limited for all Parks, especially for Magic Kingdom Park, which can sell out rather quickly.

Tip: If you think that you might be visiting on a particularly busy day (especially if that day falls on a holiday in the United States), then your best bet might be to purchase a 2 Day Theme Park Ticket before leaving home so that you can “lock in” your preferred date. Even though that may be a more expensive option, at least then you’ll have the peace of mind of knowing that the Theme Park that you’d like to visit will be “sold out” when you arrive.

I hope my answer helps give you more information about your ticketing options – I’m truly sorry that I was unable to find a way to make your ticket wishes come true, That said, please don’t hesitate to visit us again if you have any other questions. We’re always happy to help!

    Have a Magical Day,
