My family of four is staying at the Wilderness Lodge in June. We have breakfast reservations for each theme park between 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. most days. Can you tell me the best way to get to each park from our hotel and the approx travel time to allow?

    Hi there, Jessica!

I would be happy to provide you with approximate travel times from Disney's Wilderness Lodge to each of the four major theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort.  Disney recommends that you allow about an hour and a half travel time for a dining reservation.  Depending on where you are going, it may or may not be less than that.  Keep that recommendation in mind, just to be on the safe side.  The times I am providing you with do NOT include potential wait times for transportation to arrive.

To get to Magic Kingdom Park,  simply head to the boat dock.  Once boarded, the trip should last around 10-15 minutes.

For Epcot Theme Park, I suggest that you hop a Disney bus from your resort.  The trip should last around 25 minutes, give or take.

If It's Animal Kingdom Park you are after, grab a Disney bus marked for Disney's Animal Kingdom.  That journey typically lasts around a half hour or so.

Last but not least is Disney's Hollywood Studios Theme Park.   Hop on a bus heading to Hollywood Studios.  It's about a 25 minute trip.

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
