Hiya, Courtney! Welcome to planDisney!
Your April visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth is less than two months away. That has got to be a great feeling! Spring is one of my favorite times of year to visit
Walt Disney World Resort. The weather is usually quite lovely, and EPCOT hosts the
International Flower & Garden Festival. The park gets decked out with fun Disney character topiaries and beautiful garden displays. Make sure you check those out during your visit!
I’m happy to report that, as of this writing,
standard theme park parking is included for registered Guests of Disney Resort hotels.
Self-parking is also complimentary in all surface lots and garages at Disney Springs. So, you will not have to pay to park at Magic Kingdom Park or Disney Springs.
Having said that, if you do not plan on venturing outside of the Disney bubble during your vacation, a car rental may not be required! Walt Disney World Resort has an extensive transportation system that includes
buses,
boats, the
Monorail, and the
Disney Skyliner. From Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, you’ll be able to take the Disney Skyliner to both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. The Walt Disney World Bus Service will take you to Magic Kingdom Park, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney Springs. In my experience, the buses are very reliable, and I’ve never had to wait too long at all.
I hope this answers your question, Courtney! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your visit, please don’t hesitate to come back and see us here at
planDisney!
See you real soon!
