Sarah Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We are a family of four and each have set up My Disney accounts. However my daughter is age 13, and after creating her Magic Mobile pass, it won't allow her to load to Google Wallet as she's under 16. How do I now add her pass to my phone wallet?

    Hi Sarah,

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for bringing your great question about using technology on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! I love using the magic of great tech tools to seamlessly access my vacation entitlements such as theme park tickets and individual Lightning Lane entries, so I’m happy to help you connect everything for your daughter before you arrive.

The 16-year-old age restriction on Google Wallet is per Google’s terms of use, so we’ll abide by those for continued safety with their digital tools. My son is also not yet able to use Apple Wallet or Google Wallet but I’ve set up his Disney MagicMobile Pass under my own. There are three steps to connect everything, and it sounds like you’ve both already successfully linked your tickets and designed your MagicMobile Pass, the first two key steps.

Please also be sure that your daughter is connected to your account through Friends and Family, and that you have checked the box to manage her plans. This is a required prerequisite to be able to add her pass to your wallet. Next, in the My Disney Experience app, select the “hamburger” icon (☰) in the bottom tray and then select the Disney MagicMobile tile. If you have set up to manage your daughter’s plans, you should then see the ability to add her pass to your own Apple or Google Wallet. Follow the prompts on the app to complete this step. Then, you may open the wallet app on your phone and see both passes for use. In my Apple Wallet, it’s a clear visual of our two passes and I can swipe to see my son’s and quickly scan his in the theme parks when needed.

Disney MagicMobile Pass is just one of the several ways you can access the magic on your vacation, Sarah. If you’d like your daughter to also have a physical card to scan, you may request one at Guest Relations within a theme park or at the front desk of your Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Disney Bands are another way to access the fun and are available for any age to use.

You’re coming to the Most Magical Place on Earth during the most magical time of the year, and I’m so excited for you to experience the true joy of the holidays! I hope you can take time to sample the incredible seasonal treats and offerings throughout the parks and resorts, or tour the incredible larger-than-life gingerbread displays at select Deluxe resorts. Disney Springs is also a wonderful place to shop, eat, and enjoy the spirit of the season through fun activities and beautiful Christmas tree displays.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions in setting up your Disney MagicMobile Pass, or in finalizing your plans for this special trip.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
