Hi Sarah!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are planning a great trip to
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge and the planet Batuu. Piloting the fastest hunk of junk in the galaxy will be icing on the cake for you. I have piloted this ship a few times and it can be a rough ride, so hold on tight and enjoy the mission.
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run does participate in the
Disability Access Service program. This program allows Guests who have a special need the ability to get a return time in order to participate in the attraction without waiting in the regular queue. I encourage you to use this service. I have a son on the autism spectrum and it works great for us. We have used it on many attractions including those in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.
When boarding Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run you will see the ship is loaded in groups of six. Two pilots, two engineers and two gunners. I have never been placed in a ship that was not full as this attraction is VERY popular. You can always ask the Cast Member when you enter the attraction and explain your situation but I can not guarantee you will be given a ship with only four members in it. If you need more information or would like to discuss specific needs please contact
Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or email disability.services@disneyparks.com They will be able to give you more of a direct answer.
I hope this has helped to guide you on your journey to Walt Disney World. If you think of anything else we can assist you with, please let us know.
'Til the Spires,
Jen
