Hi Gilda,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am sure that your girls must be thrilled about your upcoming trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
My family always uses a
Dining Plan. When my girls were younger (they are 10-years old now), we used the Disney Dining Plan. It provides one Quick-Service meal, one Table-Service meal, and two snacks per night of your stay. The package also includes a resort refillable mug that you can use to get drinks at the resort. While the resort does not normally include breakfast in the price of your stay, you can certainly eat breakfast at the resort. Art of Animation has Quick-Service dining at the
Landscape of Flavors and they do currently accept dining plans.
So here is how the dining plans works. If you are staying for five nights and six days, each person over 3-years old in your family will receive 10 meals (five Quick-Service and five table-Service) plus 10 snacks. On this plan, my family likes to just use two meals per day but you can actually use as many meals per day as you want until the meals are gone.
Purchasing a dining plan helps us better budget. It gives us a sense of how much money we will actually spend on food so that we can save in advance. When we used the Disney Dining plan, I brought snacks from home. We ate those snacks for breakfast in the room before we left for the parks. I also brought snacks from home to take in the parks so that we could use our dining plan snacks for special treats, like ice cream!
Now that our girls are older, we use the Disney Deluxe Dining Plan which provides three meals per night of your resort stay. This plan gives us more flexibility.
Happy Planning!
