Hi. Family of four planning a trip to Disney World arriving June 9th and departing June 17th. We will be arriving at 12:40 pm, should we get park tickets for the day we arrive or just hang out at the pool? Thank you.

    Hi Suzette!

We are usually so excited when we arrive, that most often we head to a park right away - even if it's only for a few hours. It's a great way to start off your vacation!

With the price structure of the Magic Your Way tickets, the more days you stay the less you pay per day which makes it very affordable to add an extra day to your tickets when you're staying for more than a few days. For example, the price difference between an 8 day and 9 day ticket is less than three dollars per person.

Even if you wanted to spend some time at the pool relaxing on your arrival day, you could still use the extra ticket to enter a park for a nice dinner or fireworks.

If I were you, I would keep your arrival day flexible and perhaps book a table service meal for dinner in one of the parks in case you end up visiting one. If you don't think you'll make it, you can easily cancel the reservation. If you do want to visit a park, you can easily add the extra day to your tickets at any ticket window or guest services. You would only pay the difference between your current tickets and the next level.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
