Hi!! My family of four will be there on the last week of October. This will be the first time we are staying on property and have the option of Pop Centry or Caribbean Beach? Which do you recommend as having better transporation and kid activities? Thanks!

    Hi there Jessica!

Congratulations on your decision to stay on property at Walt Disney World for the first time! You're looking at two great properties and both have poolside, children's activities each afternoon. There are some definite differences between the properties' overall amenities and transportation, so I'll outline a few to help make your decision easier.

As far as transportation goes, both properties have their own, dedicated bus. At Pop Century, there is just one bus stop at the property - so you're quickly on your way to the parks or back to your room at the end of a busy day. At Caribbean Beach, there are 7 bus stops spread around the beautiful and expansive property. This can certainly mean a bit longer wait to be on your way to the park or to get back to your room in the evening, depending where on the property your room is.

As far as resort amenities and extras, Pop Century has wonderful, big and bold theming at its pool areas and all around the resort. For dining, you have a Quick Service Food Court with many options. If water play is important to your family, Caribbean Beach Resort has some extras. The feature pool area includes a water slide as well as an incredible kids' splash area. Six additional 'quiet' pools are located around the property. This resort has its own marina complete with watercraft rentals and even a Pirate Adventure Cruise for kids. Dining options include both a food court and a sit-down, Table Service Restaurant.

If ease of transportation is your number one priority, Pop Century would be your best option for a young family. If added activities for your kids and family sound appealing and you don't mind adding a bit of time onto your daily transportation, your better bet would be Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort.

Wishing you a simply Magical time planning your upcoming visit!
