My family of four (kids 5 and 8) are planning to vacation at Disney in September. After much review we have narrowed it down to the Polynesian or the Wilderness Lodge. Can you help us narrow this down?

    Hi Jim,
You have narrowed down your resort choices to some magical places, so much that this is tough to answer.  The Polynesian will have a few more amenities than the Wilderness Lodge (WL), the rooms are bigger, and the access to both Epcot and the Magic Kingdom by monorail is a great perk (especially for coming and going during the day).  The Polynesian, too, has rooms (these are more costly) with a Magic Kingdom view so you could even spend some evenings watchings the fireworks from your room and enjoy all the views of the Seven Seas Lagoon.  Both the WL and Polynesian have been renovated in the last few years, but the Polynesian does still have a dated feel in some parts. The WL is smaller and contained within one building, which is nice when it rains!  I'd encourage you to explore the photos of both resorts on the WDW official site (linked above) and at www.allearsnet.com to see which theme your family would prefer most.  I do truly love both these resorts; and I believe that whatever you select, your trip be magical!
