Hello.. My family of four are excited to arrive Sept. 2nd - 10th. Is it worth watching Wishes from California Grille and missing the busy crowds of Main Street USA? Will I miss any of the amazing show? Thank you.

    Hello Abigail,
Why yes, I really can just imagine how excited your darling family of 4 is about your upcoming magical September trip to Walt Disney World Resort because that's exactly how my own family feels about our Disney visits too.
One of the first things I'm pleased to share is that Wishes nighttime spectacular is going to magically transform into Happily Ever After - Coming May 12th - isn't that just such amazing news for you to look forward to watching a whole newly imagined show with your family in September!
As for where to find your prime viewing spot, well I have to tell you that I enjoy both ways of seeing the fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park because they both have their advantages -
California Grill is absolutely the way to go if you want a more leisurely and almost VIP feel with an unbeatable view of the show from the 15th floor observation deck, plus of course getting to dine at one of the top Signature Dining restaurants on Disney property.
However, enjoying the fireworks direct from Main Street, U.S.A does give a sense of being almost part of the show with that unique shared experience feel to it. I think to watch the explosion and myriad of lights and sounds all around with the extra dimension of actually standing in the Magic Kingdom Park with Cinderella Castle as a backdrop is totally breathtaking and for me, usually emotional too!
