Welcome to planDisney, Kristen!
You’re counting down the weeks to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and I’m so, so excited for you. I have been dreaming about springtime at EPCOT, and you’ll be visiting during the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, with its delicious food and stunning topiaries. Yay!
EPCOT’s Japan pavilion is one of my family’s very favorite spots. We always stop for a break (and some sushi!) in the gardens, because it’s so beautiful and tranquil.
Teppan Edo is another favorite, and your question led me to add this Teppan-yaki style restaurant to my must-eat list for my own upcoming visit. I’ll be dreaming of volcano rolls and the Iced Blood Orange for the next few months!
Kristen, as part of the Walt Disney World Resort’s phased reopening,
additional health and safety precautions are in place. At Teppan Edo, plexiglass dividers are in place at tables; at this time, no more than two parties are being seated per table. The plexiglass dividers can be moved around to accommodate different sized parties, and servers are working to create space between groups where possible. Please note that these accommodations are subject to change based on current public health guidance and Disney’s internal policies, and you are always welcome to talk to a host at the check-in station if you have questions.
Enjoy your meal at Teppan Edo, Kristen! As you continue to count down the days to your visit, be sure to read the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news and updates. Please come see us again if you have any further questions, and check out the

Wishing you a magical vacation,
