My family of four is going to Disney in Aug. My 96 year old gram (who lives with us) will be traveling to Orlando to visit other family but is planning on coming to EPCOT with us for a day. Is there anywhere she can lie down and rest if needed?

    Hello Sandra!

Walt Disney World is a destination for the young as well as the young at heart.  I just love that your 96 year old grandmother will be joining you in Epcot Theme Park!  As you may know, Epcot is twice the size of Magic Kingdom Park so there is a lot of ground to cover…literally!  In case you had not considered doing so, would a wheelchair rental be appropriate given your grandmother's need to rest?  Only you know if that is a good opting for her or not.  There are many resting spots throughout the parks for resting tired feet and legs.  In addition, there is a First Aid station located at the Odyssey Centre before on the bridge to World Showcase.  If your grandmother needs to rest or experiences exhaustion, I would recommend taking her there.   The nurses can assist in meeting her needs so that you can be back out in the park in no time!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I wish you a truly magical vacation!
