Hi Eric,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! How exciting to plan your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
If you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you should be able to pick up breakfast before heading to the parks. I would first suggest that you review the quick-service dining options at your
resort hotel. When we leave early for the parks, however, we also sometimes just eat our own snacks in the room before we leave. I usually bring instant oatmeal and cereal bars and I use the coffee maker to heat up water for the oatmeal.
Depending on whether or not we are visiting a park with early morning
Extra Magic Hours, we typically leave the room by 7:30 a.m. Be sure to check the
Park Hours for the dates of your visit. I also take a few snacks with us to the parks. We usually do our first three Fast Pass+ selections by lunchtime and then eat lunch in the parks. At Epcot, there are several quick-service options but one of our favorites is
Sunshine Seasons. They currently serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Eric, if you plan to eat at a few table-service restaurants, be sure to make advanced dining reservations. Restaurants get booked quickly, especially for character meals. We love to dine at Akershus Royal Banquet Hall for a pre-park opening breakfast reservation. On our last visit, we finished by about 9:10 a.m. then hopped in the standby line for Frozen Ever After to tour Arendelle. We then we visited with Anna and Elsa at Royal Sommerhus. It was a perfect royal morning!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
