Our family of four is beginning to plan a Disney World trip this year! What Disney World resorts would you recommend to stay at with two young Children (ages 1 and 3) - keeping in mind best amenities to easy accessibility to parks?

    Hi there, Marcella!

I'm so excited to help you in the early stages of planning your trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth! I love trying out different Disney Resort Hotels with my own family of four, so I can certainly guide you in the right direction.

Each Disney Resort Hotel is a magical world of it's own, just waiting to be explored. There are pros to staying at every hotel at Walt Disney World, but I do have a few favorites, especially when it comes to traveling with small kids. In the deluxe category, my recommendation would be Disney's Contemporary Resort or Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. If quick access to parks is what you seek, these are the clear winners! These resorts are just a short, easy walk to Magic Kingdom Park, an unrivaled advantage with two little ones. The monorail also runs right through Disney's Contemporary Resort, meaning you can catch a ride over to the Magic Kingdom Ticket and Transportation Center or EPCOT. You can also see the Disney Enchantment fireworks show from the resorts, which gives you flexibility in planning your day.

In the moderate and value categories, my recommendations revolve around access to the most fun mode of transportation on property, the Disney Skyliner. My kids think that the Disney Skyliner is an attraction on its own, and I love the easy access to EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Both Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort have access to the Disney Skyliner to help navigate between your resort and the parks. They also have excellent pools, delicious food and fun theming to make your stay magical. Keep in mind that all Disney Resort Hotels also provide bus transportation to and from the parks!

Marcella, I know that traveling with kids comes with some challenges and extra planning, but these Disney Resort Hotels will help make your stay a breeze! Please feel free to reach back out with any additional questions!
