    Family of five and trying to stick to a budget for a trip in 2011. Looks like our best bet is the Port Orleans Riverside? Anyone ever stay here and what did you think? So excited to start planning!

    Hiya Heather!

    My family has stayed at Port Orleans Riverside's sister hotel -French Quarter- and absolutely loved it! In fact, it remains one of our very favorite Resorts in all of Disney World.

    Even though Port Orleans is a Moderate property it definitely has a luxury feel to it. The attention to detail from landscaping to southern hospitality is top notch! And this is coming from a girl who owns a hotel and restaurant in the south herself! Our rooms and the Resort were very clean and the Cast Member all helpful.

    My family loved walking back and forth from Riverside to French Quarter along the Walking Path and taking the boat, too. Our next favorite thing was hopping on the boat for the short ride to Downtown Disney! It is a gorgeous, relaxing ride and the best way to get to DD!

    My kids have asked to go back to this Resort if that tells you anything! We enjoyed it and I hope you do if you end up there!
