Howdy, Jennifer! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel and asking your question. One of my family’s first trips to the Disneyland Resort included the grandparents and I have such fond memories of that multigenerational vacation!
Lodging options at the Disneyland Resort include
three Disneyland Resort Hotels and a multitude of nearby Good Neighbor Hotels. The Disneyland Resort Hotels are all on property which means they are just a very short walk away from the parks and the Downtown Disney District. They are also exquisitely themed, have world class amenities, and feature some amazing dining options. For a party of six, you will need to book a one bedroom suite (or larger) or two standard rooms as the standard rooms at the Disneyland Resort Hotels have a maximum capacity of five people.
For Good Neighbor Hotels, you might also need to book a suite to accommodate your party size, but there are many more options that are budget-friendly. You can sort the list of Good Neighbor Hotels by category, distance to the Disneyland Resort, hotel amenities, and room features. I suggest a hotel that is within walking distance of the parks or one that offers a free shuttle.
Finally, be sure to check out the
Offers & Discounts page as there are quite a few great hotel promotions currently available for both the Disneyland Resort Hotels and Good Neighbor Hotels.
I hope this was helpful. Have a splendid time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
