We are a family of five on a very tight budget. The kids ages are 10, 6, and 2. What WDW resort would be best? Would it be possible to stay in a value resort and use a roll away bed?

    Stephanie:

Thanks for coming to the Mom's Panel.

If you're wanting to stay on property and stick within a tight budget, the Value Resorts are the way to go. With the ages of your children, I'd recommend booking All-Star Movies with their stories-tall statues from Buzz Lightyear to Herbie the Love Bug. Rooms at the resort have a maximum of four occupants in addition to a child under the age of three who sleeps in a crib, so you're in luck. I recommend requesting the crib when you make your reservations or a rollaway bed but keep in mind they are are on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
