Hi, I have a family of five with three boys ages 6,5, and 4. We will be going to WDW in April for 7 nights. To save time before we arrive, I would like to get any suggestions on what is best to do at their ages while there.

Hi Lacie:
I'm a parent of two boys, ages 5 and 4, and I would love to share some of my family's must-dos for our Disney World vacations. Your family may have different tastes, but hopefully these recommendations will be a good start to planning your trip.
While only a portion of the many Magic Kingdom attractions, our family always enjoys it's a small world, Jungle Cruise, Mickey's PhilharMagic, Peter Pan's Flight, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Pirate's of the Caribbean, Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover, Haunted Mansion, and Monster's, Inc. Laugh Floor. At Epcot, my family always takes in Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land, Soarin' (our four-year old just reached the 40 inch height requirement), Turtle Talk with Crush, the Seas with Nemo & Friends, the attractions inside the Innoventions pavilions (my boys are currently obsessed with The Great Piggy Bank Adventure), and the Kim Possible World Showcase Adventure. We also tour the countries of World Showcase. Our must-dos at Hollywood Studios include Toy Story Mania, Star Tours and Muppet Vision 3-D. At Animal Kingdom, our family always rides the Kilimanjaro Safari and visits Conservation Station.
Of course, every family is different, and to have a successful trip, you will have to take your children's likes, dislikes, and comfort-level into account. As you enter the parks, pick up a Times Guide for parades and show schedules throughout the day. Don't forget to make dining reservations by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Think about a character meal, say at Chef Mickey's.
Just remember to follow your childrens' pace and enjoy.
