We are a family of five and we will be staying at WDW for 7 days, we are planning to eat at 4 different restaurants within the theme parks and resorts, Should I purchase a Disney Dining Plan?

    Hello Michelle,

I love the Disney Dining Plan (DDP). We use it every time we go down to Disney World.

Some things you need to consider as you think about purchasing the DDP:
    • Do you enjoy dessert? With the traditional DDP, you will get one table service meal, one quick service meal, and one snack for each night of your stay. With each table and quick service meal, you get an entree, a dessert and a non-alcoholic drink. Because substitutions cannot be made, if dessert is something of which you are not a fan, the DDP may not be for you.
    • Which four restaurants are you dying to hit? There is a small number of restaurants on property that do not accept the DPP. So be sure to double check the participation of the four restaurants at which you're looking.
If after you answer these questions you still think the DDP is a good option for your family, I say you should go for it! It will really allow you to try a variety of dining experiences while on vacation!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
