    My family of five (5,7,10) has reservations at Port Orleans for Frid Aug 19 - 26, but we will be landing at Orlando on Wed 1130pm. Any ideas for a day trip? , shopping? on Thurs? When we rent a car for Thurs at the airport can we return it to the resort?

    Hi Alka!

    I'd suggest a trip down to Cocoa Beach to enjoy the sand and surf, or even a tour of the Kennedy Space Center.  We've taken several day trips down there in our visits, and have enjoyed them tremendously.

    Yes, if you rent a car from either Alamo or National, you can rent it from the airport and return it to the Car Care Center on Walt Disney World property.  Just make sure you designate the different drop off location in your car rental information.
