Hi Moms! My family of five(6 and one year old twins) will be staying at the AoA. We will be surprising my six year old with his first visit. Any tips on travelling the resort and parks with twins?

    Hi Melissa!

I am thrilled to hear about your upcoming surprise vacation.  My first visit was a surprise when I was six and I still remember the excitement to this day! Your family will love Disney's Art of Animation Resort. You could spend a whole day exploring the resort and spending time at the adorably themed pools. The Finding Nemo pool is the largest pool on Walt Disney World property and also boasts underwater speakers.  This resort really has a way of "drawing" you in!

There are strollers to rent at each theme park, however, we usually rent one from an outside company. (There are several to choose from.)  They can deliver it to your resort and they will pick it up after you leave.  Another great benefit from doing it this way is that you will still have the stroller to use at the resort and while waiting for a bus once you are leaving the parks.  We also like that the styles are much more accommodating for taking naps in the park and they have several models to choose from, so you can pick one you are familiar with.

Rider Switch will be a great convenience to your vacation.  For rides where your little ones aren't quite big enough, one adult can take your oldest while one waits with the twins and then you can switch without having to wait in line another time.  Visit the link above to see how it works and which attractions offer this benefit.

If you would like to see all of the activities and attractions your little ones can join you on, visit Planning for Pre-School Kids and Little Ones.  We have visited a few times with my eldest and my toddlers, so if there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
