Hi there! My family of five (kids 8,7, and 5) will be in WDW in Aug. Would like to go to the Hoop-De-Do dinner. What is the difference in view in the 3 cat. seats. Will the children be able to see everything from category 2, or do we go with cat. 1?

Hi, Jennifer! Hoop Dee Doo is going to rock your world! To help paint a picture, here's the seating and ticket prices in a nutshell. Category 1 is going to get you on the main floor near the front. Category 2 lines the back and corners of the ground level along with the back of the balcony. Category 3 gets you on the sides of the balcony.

All areas will get you a view of the show, character interaction, and hearty portions of beans, ribs and cornbread. Category 1 will have the best view of the characters while they're on stage. Think of it as stadium seating at a pro sports event - all the action is visible from any seat; some seats allow you to get a closer look at the action than others.
