I have a family of five including myself. Me, my husband, my daughter (13) son (8) and son (7). Do we need to reserve a room with two queens and a pull down? We are comfortable with two queens because my youngest typically co sleeps on vacation.

    Hi Lauren!

Thank you for visiting planDisney! I can relate to your situation as I also have a family of five. Planning a magical trip to Walt Disney World Resort with a larger family can be a bit of a puzzle, but it's definitely manageable and rewarding.

When it comes to your accommodations, it is essential to list everyone on the reservation. Walt Disney World Resort requires all guests to be registered to ensure safety and to provide the best possible service. Additionally, having everyone on the reservation is important if you want to take advantage of early morning hours or extended evening hours. The only exception for having a fifth person in a room designed for four is if the fifth guest is a child under the age of three, as they are provided a crib.

For your family, there are several options for resorts that can comfortably sleep five guests. Disney’s Art of Animation Resort offers family suites that can comfortably accommodate up to six guests, featuring a separate bedroom, a living area with a pull-down bed, and two bathrooms. Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside has rooms in the Alligator Bayou section that include two queen beds and a pull-down bed, suitable for a family of five. Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has rooms with two queen beds and a child-size pull-down bed. Additionally, many of the Deluxe Resorts, such as Disney’s Beach Club Resort or Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, offer rooms that can accommodate five guests with two queen beds and a daybed or pull-down bed.

I hope this helps you find the perfect accommodation for your magical stay! If you have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out again. Have a wonderful and magical time at Walt Disney World Resort!

    Best wishes,
