Family of five deciding between waterparks for first time. Leaning towards TL. However, Gang Plank Falls states it holds 4 people - does that mean 4 adults? Will DH and I be able to ride in same raft with our 3 kids (oldest is 9)? Thank you.

Hi Donna! It is always a tough decision to figure out which water park to take the family to while at Walt Disney World. Both have special and fun rides that are unique.

Gang Plank Falls at Typhoon Lagoon is a fun family tube ride. One thing to note is that the tubes can be quite heavy so be prepared to garner all the help you can from the younger ones of the family. There is no height restriction and for most guests this is considered a fun ride and not overly scary.  It is called a four person ride but depending on size of the children you might be able to get all five of you in one raft. That will be a decision by the cast member at the attraction as they will deem what is in the best interest for your safety.

Have a blast and don't forget the sunscreen!!!!!
