    Our family of five, 2 adults and 3 kids will be in WDW in May 2016.when do we get our wrist bands and how do we apply for them?

    Hi Diane,

    Congratulations on your upcoming vacation, May is such a beautiful month to visit the Walt Disney World Resort!  You will be happy to know that if you are Guests of a Disney Resort hotel you will receive complimentary MagicBands. In order to customize your MagicBands first you need to create and log-in to your My Disney Experience Account.  Once you have logged in you should select the option for "MagicBands and Cards" underneath the heading for "My Account".  You will be then able to customize your MagicBands with the name you wish to appear on the inside of them and pick out their color.  Your MagicBand will be shipped approximately 3-4 weeks prior to your scheduled arrival and you will receive notification in My Disney Experience when your MagicBands have shipped.
