Our family is going on our first WDW trip on July 18-25 2009. My husband suffers from motion sickness and refuses to go on any rides. Will there be plenty of other activities that he may enjoy at the parks while I take the girls on rides?

Hi Peggy! There are still many attractions at all of the four theme parks that do not involve motion that your husband can still enjoy. Many are theater locations and the best thing to do before you go is to read up about all the different ones to see which the entire family can enjoy together.  Click HERE to link to the attraction section on the website.

When you and the girls want to take in a thriller ride there is always something your husband can do while he waits for you.  The parks have numerous benches through-out and sometimes it is as much fun to sit and watch the people as it is to ride the rides!  The parks will have various street entertainment and character greetings that are fun to watch and be a part of as well. Main Street in the Magic Kingdom is the place to see all kinds of things happening and the Main Street of MGM has actors and actresses performing daily!  In the World Showcase of EPCOT you will find numerous musical and other entertainment at each of the countries and in the Future World section I enjoy sitting and watching the fountain shows.

When you get to a park be sure and pick up the entertainment guide at Guest Services as this will often list what is going to happen and when in the park that day.
