This will be my family very first vacation. I have 3 girls ages 11,9,and 3. Needing help with everything from which park should we visit to the Resort we should stay at. Our vacation length is going to be at the max 7 days

Congratulations on planning your first trip to Walt Disney World!  Since you are a family of 5, there are some resorts with rooms for 5 or more guests that reflect many budgets and preferences.  The value resorts have all the Disney perks while being more budget friendly. Disney's Art of Animation Resort is the newest resort and has family suites and incredible Disney theming.  The moderate resorts offer more amenities, and my family of 5 has always enjoyed Disney's Port Orleans - Riverside. Most of the deluxe resorts can accommodate families of 5, and these resorts offer even more amenities and are located closest to at least one theme park. Disney's Beach Club Resort and Disney's Yacht Club Resort share an amazing pool Stormalong Bay (lazy river, sand bottom pool, sand bar) and is within walking to distance to both Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios (this is a longer walk). Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is a short monorail or boat ride to the Magic Kingdom and a nice walk to catch the monorail that goes to Epcot. Take a look at the different resorts to see which best fits your budget/tastes and let us know if you have any further questions.

Since you are staying 7 days, it makes it very easy to visit all 4 parks. I really like the touring plans offered at www.touringplans.com to help guests know the must-dos and the order to visit them. It essentially does all the planning for you! While there is a small cost, it is one I think worthwhile.

I'd also make sure to order the free planning DVD and visit the Disney Parks Blog to stay up to date. Happy planning!
