    Hi there! My family and I are going on our very first trip to WDW and are staying at the port of Orleans. We are arriving on 12/29/13 and leaving 1/3/14. Is there any special New Year's Eve events or fireworks going on this year? Thank you

    Hi!

    There are so many wonderful events and special fireworks that occur on New Year's Eve at Walt Disney World. I recommend visiting the wdwinfo dot com on the New Years Eve page to see the events that occurred in 2012. This will give you a good idea of the type of events that may be offered this year.

    Magic Kingdom and Epcot will have a special New Year's Eve Fireworks show. Magic Kingdom will also have  a special DJ Dance Party after the fireworks. Last year Hollywood Studios also had a special Lights, Camera, Happy New Year fireworks show. I'm not sure what they have planned this year, but I'm sure it will be something wonderful. 

    Check back on the Walt Disney World site soon to see when the special New Year's Eve events are posted.
