Hi Daine,
Thank you for dropping by planDisney with a great question! I am so excited to hEAR that you are planning your family's first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort!
I would definitely not try to buy tickets on the same day. In checking the
theme park availability calendar for your anticipated arrival date, there is no availability. In addition to your
theme park tickets, all Guests must have a theme park reservation to gain entry to a park. If there was park availability, I would advise you to purchase your tickets online,
link them in your
My Disney Experience account, and then make
Disney Park Pass system reservations. I also went through the
online system as if I were going to purchase theme park tickets and the system is not showing any tickets available to purchase for your arrival date.
My suggestion would be to change the dates of your trip. Right now, for Guests with theme park tickets, EPCOT still has some availability for April 4th. If that date would work for you, double-check the theme park availability calendar, purchase your tickets online, link those tickets in your My Disney Experience account and then make park pass reservations for your family! If you can, I would spend a night or two in a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel. Your family could then enjoy the amenities of the resort hotel for a day or two. You all could do a day at EPCOT, spend a few hours at the pool at the resort the next day, and then explore
Disney Springs, pending availability, the next evening.
So, gather your crew and regroup. The next two weeks are going to be
Incredible at the Walt Disney World Resort and if you can modify your dates, you could still make some magic happen. If you do decide to go, make sure you download the
My Disney Experience Mobile App so that you can use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering while visiting.
Daine, I still believe, and my wish has gone to the stars for you. We cannot wait to welcome you to a world of magic!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
