    My family is going on its first Disney cruise in 2 months. I understand you can not bring surge protectors and extension cords but can you bring the type of plugs that give you additional outlets such as the ones that have side and forward facing outlets?

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations on booking your first Disney Cruise! Oh my gosh, you and your family must be getting so excited to set sail in just two months! Before you know it, you'll be dancing and partying at the Sail-Away Celebration on embarkation day. Your family will love sailing with Captain Mickey!

    You asked a wonderful question. I just touched base with an agent from Disney Cruise Line and she said that unfortunately, you may not bring the type of plugs that give you additional outlets onboard with you. With that being said, if you enter into your stateroom and notice that you will be needing additional places to plug things in, I recommend stopping by the Guest Services Desk to ask if they have a power strip you could borrow for the duration of your cruise. I'm not sure if one will be available for you, but it doesn't hurt to ask!

    My family and I have found that there are enough outlets around our stateroom for our charging needs. Hopefully, when you see your soon-to-be home away from home, you'll feel the same way!
