Ahoy
Diana!
Congratulations on your upcoming 4-Night Bahamian Disney Cruise!
As someone who was born and raised in Cuba, I can certainly understand your concern regarding the weather that time of the year. I sailed on the Disney Dream this past January, and I can tell you that the weather was fantastic! The temperatures remained in a comfortably balmy range between the upper 70s and low 80s (°F). It was definitely warm enough to enjoy the AquaDuck, the pools, and the beaches at
Castaway Cay. However, weather can be unpredictable in the Bahamas and the Caribbean that time of the year. Therefore, I would suggest packing some appropriate attire, in case it gets chilly at night. Be sure to bring a sweater, a jacket, and a couple of pairs of long pants. It's always a good idea to pack an umbrella and/or a rain jacket too. But if you do forget them at home, you can always buy these items on the ship!
The Captain's Gala is offered on 7-Nights, or longer, cruises. On your particular sailing there will be a "Dress-Up-Night" instead. Pack jackets for men and "dressy" dresses, or pantsuits for women. Girls can wear their "Sunday-best" dresses. Younger girls might want to wear their favorite Disney Princess dresses. My daughter has done this in the past. Boys can wear a dress shirt and dress slacks. Many guests enjoy dressing-up in their buccaneer best during the Pirate-themed evening, so I would suggest bringing Pirate garb too. The rest can be Cruise Casual, unless you plan on booking an adults-only meal at Remy or Palo. Be sure not to wear shorts, swimwear, of tank tops to the main dining venues.
Enjoy a magical sailing with Disney!
Bon Voyage!
