    My family and I are going on our first Disney Cruise to celebrate my parent's 50th anniversary, we are Disney lovers and we don't want to miss out on anything, we are on the Very Merrytime Cruise. What can we expect and what do we need to plan for?

    Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited for your upcoming celebratory voyage aboard Disney Cruise Line! My parents just booked a Disney Cruise for our entire family to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary, too! Since your family members are Disney lovers, I have no doubt that you will fall in love with cruising and this will be the first of many future voyages with Captain Mickey!

    You can expect to have an incredible time during your Very Merrytime Cruise! Before setting sail, I recommend taking a look at the Port Adventures and onboard activities available during your cruise so you can begin booking them as soon as your advance booking window opens 75 days prior to your voyage (for first-time cruisers). Some onboard activities your family might be interested in planning in advance are: tickets to the Princess Gathering, royal transformations at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique and adult-only dining at Palo.

    Once onboard, you will receive a Personal Navigator newsletter each day that will list all the events on and around the ship. This will also have the times listed for the Youth Clubs and Broadway-style shows! One of my favorite parts of setting sail is the incredible food! Be prepared to have phenomenal meals every night while enjoying Disney Cruise Line's rotational dining!
